Inner Wheel Club of Swan Hill donates proceeds of raffle to Safe Housing Project

The Inner Wheel Club of Swan Hill participated in the Bunnings Christmas Family Night to help youngsters decorate Christmas wreaths. Bunnings donated a terrific barbecue to the club to raffle for a charity of their choice and they nominated our Safe House project.

Tickets were sold to those attending the Club’s Christmas lunch that day as well as at the Bunnings function and resulted in a donation of $270. Well done Inner Wheel.

This was a great opportunity to promote our cause and the members reported a great deal of interest in the Safe Shelter project and a willingness of people to share their own domestic violence experience or concern for others they know.
